About Maplelane Goldens

In 1991, Sherri fell in love with the golden retriever with the purchase of her first Golden "Rightchoice's Coors Light a.k.a. "Alli".
Sherri has worked with animals her entire life and has turned her passion into a business called “K9 Pest Management Group Inc” offering municipal animal control and pound services, goose control, municipal egg oiling programs and K9 bed bug detection. Sherri has deployed in animal disaster work and is currently volunteering with the Global Alliance for Animals and People doing outreach spay and neuter work in remote towns of Guatemala.
Her facility hosts a k9 event centre and boarding facility. Sherri has been a breeder of golden retrievers with the CKC for 28 years and is active in many dog sports.
My love for the Golden Retreiver started with Alli, an English bred cream that was purchased when we moved to New Tecumseth in 1991, after a lifetime of German Shepherds. >

I was amazed at the versitility of this breed and very quickly fell in love. I showed Alli to several obedience titles and she introduced me to the Therapy Dog world. We went on to race an all golden flyball team and the was some of our best "doggy years" ever. Breeding goldens has opened so many doors in my life. Golden's introduced me to the "Cohons" and Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada, tasking me with the job of finding them a new children's charity. Through that process I found C.O.P.E. Service Dogs on the ground floor of developement.
What an honor it has been for our family and staff to watch COPE grow with their new found friends. I have been honored to have supplied over 25 Maplelane Golden's to COPE.
I am so grateful to the many friendships that have grown starting with the purchase of a ML puppy. My children were raised their entire childhood with puppies in the house and it has made for a more meaningful relationship as they all have the same dog obsessions.
As you can see, the Golden Retriever added so much too our lives and they will to your's as well. They are one of the most versatile and socially accepted breeds on the planet! "Are you ready for yours??"

Cindy Rossit
A breeder that hosts a reunion every year inviting hundreds of puppies back home to play, swim, run and generally enjoy the closest thing to dog heaven has nothing to hide and genuinely loves to see her dogs all grown up and in their happy new homes. One of the highlights of the year . . . I picked the right place to find my Flinn.
