Maplelane Goldens

At Maplelane we breed Golden Retrievers. We show for our Conformation Championships because health, temperament and good conformation are important to use. We breed dogs with a strong work ethic and many of our dogs work for a living — COPE Services dogs, St. John's Therapy Dogs, we've bred Detection Dogs, Goose Patrol Dogs including many other working disciplines. We also play at Obedience, Agility, Flyball, Dock Diving, Hunting and/or Fieldwork to keep everyone in shape both mentally and physically.

• * Health

  All our breeding dogs have been certified clear of genetic abnormalities. We use OFA and Animal Genetics for all our testing needs. Maplelane offers a 3 year health guarantee and all puppies leave our kennel on non-breeding agreements.

• * Temperament

  We work hard to ensure the perfect temperment, all of our breeding dogs have obtained their CGN.
  Sherri is a CGN evaluator for the CKC.
  Sherri is the 1st UKC & AKC Noseworks judge in Canada.
  The 1st Canadian approved trainer for WDDO.

• * Versatility

At Maplelane we strive to breed excellent family pets with good retrieving skills. We regularily breed for therapy/service dogs and the occassional working/sport litter. Maplelane has produced the required number of Champions to recieve our permanent registered kennel title with the CKC.
